Hive of Thoughts

Hive of Thoughts emerged from the ongoing “Beyond Uncertainty”, each piece plays with handwritten text taken from poems or diary entries, originally written mostly in Serbian. Handwriting is a very important part of my process, it carries a certain sensitivity, much like a drawn line, and it is deeply personal and individual. The act of writing itself becomes a kind of ritual. The text is often folded or overlapped, partially visible, creating a luminous effect. Like a pentimento, it reappears in other works as well, semi-hidden or completely concealed, forming a subtle layer of memory within the image.
