Phthalo sky silently falls

The group’s first project was a multisensory, interdisciplinary performance held at Devonshire Square Gallery in May 2024, featuring large-format drawings, poetry, sound, and dance. This performance was inspired by Suzana’s dreams and her poem, Phthalo Sky Silently Falls. By incorporating multiple languages, the work fostered kinesthetic empathy and a profound connection with the audience, blending personal history with collective memory.

Through a fusion of poetry, art, and dance, the project explored the fluid boundaries between reality and dreams, consciousness and the subconscious, highlighting the often blurred line between these realms.

Central to our work is the exploration of social issues, personal beliefs, philosophical inquiries, and the complex questions of identity and belonging, especially as foreign artists. These topics are crucial because they delve into the very nature of human experience. How do we define ourselves when living between cultures? How do personal histories intersect with collective narratives? These are the kinds of questions that drive our creative process. Through art, we aim to provoke reflection, challenge preconceptions, and ignite conversations about belonging and self-identity in a globalized world.

Our projects continue to investigate these themes through multidisciplinary exhibitions, combining visual art, poetry, dance, and video. Each project creates a platform for dialogue, using art to push the boundaries of how we understand and engage with personal and societal issues. By questioning the deeper aspects of human existence—our beliefs, our sense of place, and the tension between individual and collective identity—we aim to inspire critical reflection and foster meaningful connections between the audience and the work.
